Shinayu provides three different types of cards. Starting with the character cards, plenty of information are presented on each character card and every information has a direct impact on the gameplay. The top side of the card shows three different information. The top left (doesn’t exist yet) presents the rank of the character. The rank is an indication of the rarity and general strength of the character in fights. There are totally five ranks in Shinayu (rarity descending):
divine, ancient, legendary, mystical and common
The middle top (blue signs) shows the evolve level of the character. Every character can evolve four times in total (grey=not evolved, blue=evolved). The icon on the top right shows to which dimension the character belongs. The far bottom there are three attributes. From the left to the right: strength=total HP and HP regen., agility=movement speed, intelligence=total mana and mana regen.
Above the attributes there are little spheres (energy points). The number of spheres represents how many energy points are required to summon the character to the field but there more conditions before a player can summon a character to the field.
Secondly, there are magic cards in Shinayu which can be played during the trading card game mode or during the fighting game. The black magic cards indicates the negative effect of the card. Cards usually used against opponents. The blue magic cards indicates positive effects, which are used on the player who uses the card. Like in character cards there some information presented on magic cards. Each magic card can present three icons on top in total whereas there are five icons available in Shinayu. On the top left there is either the TCG icon (magic card that can be played only in the trading card game mode) or fighting icon (can only be played only during fights). In the top middle there can be only the reactive icon displayed. If the reactive icon is displayed, the card can be played when the opponent played a specific card. Reactive cards can be played even during the turn of the opponent. On the top right, the icon represents whether it is a permanent magic card or one-time magic card. Permanent magic cards stay on the field (grey fields from the board). On the bottom, there are the same spheres as the character cards. They represent the number of required energy points.
Last but not least the dimension cards. In this example there two mountains dimension cards (two cards on the top) and two underworld dimension cards. Dimension cards are required to summon the characters which belong to the referred dimension. It is crucial in Shinayu to have enough dimensions cards in the deck, otherwise players can be very limited in summoning characters to the field. So players should not add to many different dimensions to the deck. The general suggestion is to add maximum two different dimensions to the deck. In comparison to the previous types of cards, the dimension cards only show two information. The dimension icon and the number of required energy points.
